The Evolution of Photoshop Elements 2024

Photoshop Elements 2024 has been around for more than 20 years. PSE 3 was the first version to combine the Organizer, previously called Photoshop Album, with the Photo Editor. Each annual upgrade was sequentially numbered. I believe the last version was numbered sequentially was PSE 15. Somewhere around 2018, the sequential upgrade naming convention was switched to the year. And so here we are having PSE 2024 recently released.

For several years I have created a spreadsheet that compares the current version with previous ones. It soon became too wide for easy viewing, so I dropped off the older versions. My latest version covers only PSE 2020 through PSE 2024, and it requires zooming in to read it comfortably. The comments shown relate to the last version or the version to the left where that feature was added.

Please leave any comments below. How long have you been using PSE?

My First Interactve 360-Video

I have learning how to create a 360-degree video taken with my Insta360 One X camera for a bit. The one linked here was created using the MAGIX Movie Studio 2023. When you create a 360 video and upload it to YouTube it plays back in an interactive mode allowing you to dynamically change the view in the video.

This video was taken in Washington DC as I walked along the path in the National Mall few weeks ago.

I have several Insta360 videos I have never shared in this way. I am going to have to go back and take a look at them.

Until next time…
